How much does the SPLIIT Pro bill splitting app cost?
Everyday splitting is free, and you can use it without paying anything. A Pro upgrade lifts the scan limit and keeps your full history. Check the current price on your store listing, since it varies by country and changes with local pricing.
Do I need to create an account to split a bill?
No. Open the app and start splitting. There is no email, no password, and no profile to set up. The people you split with do not need the app either, because their totals arrive as ordinary text they can read anywhere.
Does it work on both iPhone and Android?
Yes, on both. SPLIIT Pro is a native app on the App Store and Google Play, and the splitting works the same on either. Mixed groups are normal, and nobody needs to match the phone the organiser is using.
Can it read a receipt printed in another currency?
It reads the receipt as printed, whatever the currency symbol is, so a till slip from a trip works the same as one from home. Amounts stay in the currency on the paper. It does not convert between currencies for you.
What happens if the scan reads an item wrong?
You can edit any line before you split. Faded thermal paper and handwriting are the usual culprits, so the totals are worth a glance. Fixing a price takes a tap, and everything downstream recalculates from the corrected number.
