Shared plans rarely divide evenly, because not everyone is on every service. Here is one illustrative month with each permitted plan assigned only to its users; these amounts are examples, not current provider prices.

How do you split the cost of a subscription between roommates?
Divide each plan only among the people on it, rather than splitting the total bill evenly. Someone on two of four services should pay less. Assign each line to its users and the per-person figure follows from that.
What is a fair way to split a family plan that costs less per person?
Divide the family price by the number of people using it, not by what an individual plan would cost. The discount is the reason the group exists, so everyone should get an equal share of it rather than one person keeping it.
Can I use this for a monthly cost rather than a one-off bill?
Add each month's bill yourself, with the people and amounts for that month. Keep the bills in one household group and record repayments as they arrive. SPLIIT Pro does not generate recurring expenses automatically.
How do I keep track of who has already paid me back?
Keep related bills in a private expense group, record who paid, and review suggested repayments for each currency. Record partial settlements after the money arrives. Friends can read shared breakdowns; they do not edit your group. Bill history stays on your device.
What if someone joins or leaves the plan mid-month?
Split that month with the people who were actually on it. Agree whether you split by membership or by days first. For a 30-day month, two people for 15 days then three for 15 days, a $30 charge gives the original two $12.50 each and the newcomer $5. Enter those agreed amounts manually; there is no automatic proration.
